The food was great! Had tuna melt. Service was ok but waiting for food was worth it! Women's basketball was on as well!
I think has to rate a place with the understanding of the settings and resources. For a quick stop before heading out the no other options in the state park this is awesome. Stick with the sandwiches, all were stellar from the house classic, BLT and my fav was the tuna melt which was perfectly toasted and savory. Skip the wings though they were tiny , dry and overcooked
Needed a quick breakfast on a long road trip. The restaurant is located in a truck stop/casino. There are 8 tables and a counter you can sit at. There was only one waitress and she did a good job. Menu is simple - one page for all day service. The breakfast burrito is decent size - fills you up for most of the day. You can choose cheese and what kind of meat you want inside. Comes with a side of salsa (with a little kick) and sour cream. I did a build your own omelette- cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. It was more like scrambled eggs with everything but the cheese mixed in, cooked up and then folded over. The shredded cheese was then melted on top. Different way to make it, but still pretty tasty. The hash browns were crispy and the sourdough toast was fresh. Coffee was a little burnt but the unsweetened iced tea was good.

Tu Ka Khan...in the Paiute language, means "place to eat". This morning, I came to this place to eat buttermilk biscuits smothered in country gravy with a side of eggs, sunny side up. The egg came separate, but I like to put it on top and have the golden yolk drip all over the luscious gravy. For a truck stop place called Moapa Paiute Travel Plaza on the corner of I-15 and The Valley of Fire, on the way to Lake Mead... it's remote. When you drive in, the outside building has a Casino sign, and you have to drive around to the side. Around back, there's no signage. You have to enter the truck stop store to find the restaurant inside, among all the souvenir trinkets and food stop stuff. It's out of the way, but you shouldn't skip breakfast. So have a great day.

I went here after working at a remote communications site in Moapa. The server was very friendly, the restaurant is clean and the Philly wrap was AMAZING. I will definitely be back.
